Your communication has been exceptional. Meetings have been inclusive, person centred and paced well for the needs of the person. The involvement of individuals in the recruitment process for their own packages is really empowering for people who often feel that their choices are restricted.
The format and level of information are very good. I was particularly happy to see small incidents described, noting dose corrections or where his behaviour has been a bit unsettled and what staff have done to help settle him. Great to have a detailed record each day and notes of who was on shift, so there is lots of evidence that all presentations have been adequately handled.
Inverclyde HSCP have worked with Robinson Specialist Care to provide support in a complex case involving nursing and behavioural challenges. RSC recruited staff very quickly and continue to meet the contract despite some difficulties around introducing new staff to the service user and family. Their lead nurse has produced good paperwork that will help with Positive Behaviour Support and risk assessments going forward. They have met our expectations as commissioners and we have now allocated further business to them.
